Park Hyatt Zanzibar is looking for a Head Chef who is vested with abilities and skills to run and administer our culinary department.
The Head Chef that we are looking for has to have the following qualities
- A diploma/degree in Food production, Hotel Management
- 3 years prior working experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a reputable luxury brand
- strong organizational skills which will enable him to coordinate with local food suppliers for deliveries of local fresh and seasonal food
- Extensive budget making skills and food cost controlling skills
- strong team work skills together with other operational departments especially the FNB service department
- strong communication skills which will enable him/ her to talk and take feedback from the guest
- quick and applicable tactics in solving guest problems
- strong administrative and time keeping skills
